Maybe I was thinking that since Mera was a Meric who heals, she would want her followers to be able to heal as well and so she would trade technologies with the Marrowkai to have her army be able to heal themselves without Merics I don't think they traded their souls though Since the other Founders created their own skin tribes, I speculated that Mera probably founded her own tribe as well, and the Vampiric Soulsteelers seemed to be the closest match for her
